The new Innovation Hub at the Pharma & Life Science Park Marburg
A space for independent research and development - at one of the largest pharma & life science parks in Germany.
The new Innovation Hub offers over 10,000 square meters of modern infrastructure for start-ups, spin-offs and SMEs. The offer includes flexible laboratory space from 74 square meters as well as individually configurable exclusive areas from 580 square meters. These are complemented by shared office and storage space - ideal for companies from the pharmaceutical, biotech and life science sectors. We are thus setting a milestone for the future promotion of research and development in Marburg.
This hub creates a dynamic innovation ecosystem: through targeted events, conferences and mentoring programs, our new tenants and partners actively network with each other and are encouraged to exchange ideas.
In addition, comprehensive services and the entire building infrastructure are available - from facility management and energy supply to specialized services in the areas of GxP technology and pharmaceutical logistics. This ensures a reliable, efficient and compliant infrastructure.

A strong network behind you
At the Innovation Hub, you are part of one of the most important biotech and life science clusters in Germany. Major international companies such as BioNTech, CSL, GSK and Siemens are already shaping the research landscape here. In their respective product and research areas - e.g. in plasma-based therapies or in mRNA vaccine production - they are among the absolute world leaders.
Renowned universities in the immediate vicinity - including Philipps-Universität Marburg, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen and Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen - guarantee an excellent academic basis. Numerous specialized biotech degree courses, practical research projects and collaborations with industry ensure a continuous supply of highly qualified specialists.
Philipps University is home to the largest pharmacy faculty in Germany. More than 1,000 students are enrolled there. Research is conducted primarily on the development of drugs against infectious diseases and on cellular and molecular mechanisms of drug action. Researchers here are also further developing dosage forms for drugs.
The close cooperation between the city, universities and companies actively promotes innovation and knowledge transfer. The foundation and development of start-ups and the establishment of new companies in the region is specifically supported through targeted economic development and the provision of resources and structures.
