In addition to the development and manufacture of vital products, it is also about the responsible use of resources, energy and people. Research, production and logistics must meet the highest quality and safety standards - and at the same time be in harmony with the environment and society.

Using energy and resources responsibly
For us, sustainability begins with the efficient use of energy, water and space. Synergies are created in our Pharma & Life Science Parks, which we use in a targeted manner to close cycles and conserve resources. Our energy management is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. This means that we continuously record, analyze and optimize energy consumption for ourselves and our customers in order to lower emissions and reduce costs in the long term.

Using water efficiently and securing supply
Water is a limited resource that we use carefully. In our Pharma & Life Science Park Marburg, for example, an elevated drinking water tank relieves the burden on the municipal network: it fills up at night when demand is low and reliably provides water during the day. In this way, we secure the supply, conserve resources and stabilize the local infrastructure.

Renewable energies as the basis of our energy supply
Wherever possible, we generate energy ourselves - for example with photovoltaic systems or geothermal heat pumps. This enables us to reduce CO₂ emissions, increase our independence from energy supplies and make our Pharma & Life Science Parks more resilient to high energy prices.

Stay mobile sustainably
Sustainable mobility is part of our environmental management. E-charging stations, bicycle parking spaces and good public transport connections make it easier for employees and visitors to switch to environmentally friendly means of transport. We are also gradually electrifying our own vehicle fleet.

Protecting habitats and promoting biodiversity
INNEXIS is committed to a long-term balance between industry and nature. For example, we leave around ten hectares of forest in the vicinity of our Pharma & Life Science Park Marburg completely to natural development - a refuge for numerous animal species. We manage other areas on site together with the Hessen-Forst state forestry authority in order to preserve forest structures and promote biodiversity in a targeted manner.
Climate-neutral pioneer: the Pharma & Life Science Park Marburg
At our Pharma & Life Science Park Marburg, we are leading by example when it comes to climate protection. Our goal is to achieve CO2 neutrality by 2030 by gradually replacing fossil fuels with renewable sources and intelligent energy systems. The park already covers its electricity requirements entirely from renewable energies. The energy supply is based on an interplay of modern technologies that combine efficiency, innovation and environmental protection:
