The energy and media supply in our Pharma & Life Science Parks is clean, modern and, moreover, available to the highest degree. We fully comply with the relevant standards and laws in terms of energy use, consumption and efficiency.

Avoid CO₂ emissions
We will avoid all controllable CO₂ emissions in our Pharma & Life Science Parks and strive for a CO₂-neutral energy supply.

Independent of the market and brands
We reduce our dependence on market fluctuations and short-term trends through our own energy generation, energy conversion and intelligent energy purchasing.

Customer-oriented
Together with our customers, we want to further develop the energy supply - in partnership, advantageously and sustainably. To this end, we seek regular exchanges with all parties involved.

Efficient
Efficient generation, minimizing losses and using energy economically - we show attractive ways of doing this and ensure the availability of relevant information and resources to achieve energy policy goals.

Smartly managed
The optimal linking of demand and supply is an essential task for INNEXIS as an energy service provider - to this end, we know and control the energy flows in our Pharma & Life Science Parks.

We demand and promote energy efficiency - projects are checked for target conformity in our certified energy management system. As part of the energy management system, which is a component of our integrated management system, we are committed to continuously improving our energy-related performance.

We are getting concrete - today and in the future. Our goals are ambitious and sustainable - past and future projects confirm this.

Protecting the environment is firmly anchored in INNEXIS' self-image. We focus on three goals: reducing energy consumption, increasing energy efficiency and conserving resources.

In order to achieve these goals, we have taken numerous concrete measures in recent years. These include modernized refrigeration systems, intelligent control systems for efficient compressed air generation, optimized pipe infrastructures to reduce heat loss and the renewal of central energy supply systems.

Alternative energies
INNEXIS also uses various approaches to generate renewable energies. For example, Germany's largest geothermal field is located on the site in Marburg - six office buildings and the computer center are supplied with energy from there. An underground block of ice cools and heats the logistics center, and we also generate our own electricity using a photovoltaic system, among other things.

Our own forest
We are also active in protecting the environment and biodiversity. For example, INNEXIS owns a ten-hectare piece of forest in the vicinity of the Pharma & Life Science Park Marburg, which is left entirely to nature and has become home to numerous animals. Other areas of forest owned by the company are managed jointly with the Hessen-Forst state forestry company.

Efficient occupational health and safety management
Based on our integrated management system, we systematically promote occupational health and safety in all areas of the company. The necessary resources are made available for this purpose. Based on our defined objectives, we derive preventive and corrective measures that we implement together to improve occupational health and safety performance.

Safe and employee-friendly workplaces
The protection and well-being of our employees, the employees of our site customers and visitors are our top priority. The safe working of each and every individual is a matter of course for us. We attach great importance to the safe and health-promoting design of workplaces and workflows by using the latest findings and state-of-the-art technology.

Responsible employees
The awareness and skills of our employees are promoted through regular information, instruction, training and further education. Each individual is encouraged to make suggestions in order to continuously improve our occupational health and safety conditions. The processes in place enable active participation and consultation with our employees. In occupational health and safety, each individual is sensitized to act responsibly.

Trusting cooperation with external parties
We work together with our external parties in a spirit of trust in all matters relating to occupational health and safety and maintain a regular exchange, which contributes to a safe, healthy and performance-enhancing working environment.

Various methods are used in our company to identify hazards and potential risks in occupational health and safety at an early stage and to take preventive measures. Our preventive action makes a decisive contribution to avoiding accidents at work and occupational illnesses.

Compliance with occupational health and safety obligations and other requirements
We are committed to complying with all relevant occupational health and safety obligations and other requirements that apply to our company. The implementation of legal obligations and other requirements is regularly reviewed throughout the company with regard to their effectiveness in accordance with the specifications of our management system.
